As per the new deal, CricHQ’s cricket scoring technology will be co-developed by both CricHQ and Nokia and it will be integrated in a range of Nokia phones such as Nokia X, Lumia and Asha lineup. This will be implemented starting from the on-going IPL itself. The promotion of the app will be handled by both Nokia and CricHQ and it will be made available across all the channels.

Coming to the UCWeb partnership, the browser will be promoting CricHQ across its user base in India directly through the UC Browser mobile internet browser. Both the firms will be involved in integrating the performance analysis stats of CricHQ into the browser. In addition to these features, CricHQ will be providing an opportunity for the users to meet their favorite cricketer via the ‘Meet your Heroes’ campaign. For this, users will have register on the CricHQ.com website via the app that is available on both Windows Phone Marketplace and Nokia Store using their Nokia phones. “Nokia has a huge loyal user base in India and we’re confident that many cricket lovers among its users will be impressed with what CricHQ has to offer, especially as IPL fever sweeps through the nation this month,” said CricHQ Chief Executive Simon Baker. He added, “CricHQ is extremely delighted to be partnering with UCWeb as we continue to expand in Asia. The Indian mobile Internet market in particular is absolutely the key to our growth, and I could not think of a better partner to have that will help us capture this market.” Commenting on the partnership, Navdeep Manaktala, Head of Developer Experience, Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile said, “Over the years, we have been closely associated with cricket and we see this innovative, social network format offering by CricHQ to be a game changer in a cricket loving nation like India.”
